Announcements like “Currency exchange at a fantastic rate”, “Exchange of Armenian dram for Russian ruble at a best price” and others with similar content are shared on webpages like Facebook, Telegram and other social platforms, and by responding to such announcements the citizens become the victim of the crime.

When responding to such announcements, different persons take money from different persons in different shopping centers and appropriate those amounts.

In order to avoid becoming a victim of crime, the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia warn citizens to exchange money legally, through companies engaged in such activities.
