On January 7, 2025 the prosecutor signed the indictment regarding the person who treated an animal with particular cruelty in Ararat region and submitted it to the competent court with the materials of the proceeding.

Let us remind that on December 27, 2024 the prosecutor initiated a public criminal prosecution against the abovementioned person, as the latter organized, managed and participated in the actions committed in conspiracy with another person and with particular cruelty against a cat. 

The proceedings regarding another person committing the crime in a group with abovementioned person and not identified in the scope of the proceedings was separated and forensic audio and video expertise was appointed.

Notice:  A person charged with any crime shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty in the manner prescribed by the RA Criminal Procedure Code—by the judgment came into legal force.
