The Anti-corruption court awarded the motion of the Department of State Interests Protection of the Prosecutor General’s Office by its decision dated July 2, 2024. The land plot with the surface of 12,400 m² located at Tsitsernakaberd highway, city of Yerevan was returned to the Republic of Armenia.

The Prosecutor General’s Office, in the scope of the state interests protection function, submitted a motion to the court with the request to declare the sale and purchase agreement concluded between the municipality of Yerevan city and V.T. on August 17, 2005 invalid.

Based on the judgment of the court, on December 26, 2024, the ownership right of the Republic of Armenia was registered over the land plot with the surface of 12,400 m² (the cadastral value whereof amounted to AMD 730 million 462 thousand), classified as “specially protected area”, located at 2/5 Tsitsernakaberd highway, city of Yerevan.
