The Anti-Corruption Court has granted the Prosecutor's claim, submitted within the framework of its powers to protect state interests. A total of AMD 25,410,000 will be confiscated from Kh.A. in favor of the Republic of Armenia as compensation for the damage caused to the state, along with AMD 508,000 as a state duty.

The decision has taken its legal effect. In order to ensure its execution, the performance sheet has been sent to the Compulsory Enforcement Service.

It should be reminded that on May 18, 2022, within the framework of a criminal case (criminal proceedings) initiated by the Investigation Department of the National Security Service and examined by the Investigation Division of the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of the Investigative Committee, Kh.A. was involved as a defendant for deliberately failing to calculate taxes amounting to AMD 25 million 409 thousand and for not paying them into the state budget.

On October 20, 2023, the prosecutor approved the indictment against Kh.A. and submitted it, along with the case materials, to the competent court.

On April 30, 2024, by the decision of the Criminal Court of General Jurisdiction of First Instance of Yerevan, Kh.A. was released from criminal liability due to the expiration of the statute of limitations for criminal prosecution, the case was terminated, and the property claim filed by the prosecutor was left without consideration.

On June 12, 2024, within the framework of its powers to protect state interests, the Prosecutor's Office of the Malatia-Sebastia Administrative District of Yerevan city filed a claim with the Anti-Corruption Court against Kh.A., demanding the confiscation of AMD 25 million 409 thousand in favor of the state.
