On April 26, 2024 the prosecutor submitted a written motion to the Head of Masis community of Ararat region on rescinding employment contracts concluded with the administrative heads of Ghukasavan and Nazimi settlements.

Based on the decision of the Head of Masis community dated May 2, 2024, administrative heads of Ghukasavan and Nizami settlements were dismissed from work. 

On January 9, 2024, the prosecutor initiated public criminal prosecutions against the administrative heads of Ghukasavan and Nizami settlements of Masis community as they submitted false diplomas on higher education without actually passing higher education program, which is mandatory for the appointment to the position of the administrative head of settlement having more than 1000 registered residents.

On January 10, 2024 the office of the administrative head was suspended and on May 29, on the basis of expiration of the statute of limitations,  the criminal prosecution was terminated.
