On December 18, 2023 the Prosecutor General’s Office informed that a public criminal prosecution had been initiated against the Director of one of LL Companies, which extracted mineral (state-owned sand) in different land plots located at Sipanik settlement, Ararat region (without having the permission to use the subsoil).

Under the criminal proceedings it was found out, that from December 1 until December 14, 2023 the Director of the Company violated the requirements provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia: without the right to use the subsoil, applying special equipment, extracted about 3299 cubic meters of state-owned mineral (sand), spoiling a land plot with the surface of 9874 m².

On May 17, 2024, the damage in the amount of AMD 32 million 516 thousand cased to the state and community was completely recovered by the Company.

The preliminary examination under the criminal proceedings is pending.
