Pursuant to the decision of the Government rendered today, the land plot with the surface of 16.013 m² located at Acharyan Street, Avan administrative district with the market value of AMD 2 billion 18 million 400 thousand and returned to the state under the settlement agreement concluded in the scope of the powers of confiscation of property of illicit origin of the Prosecutor’s Office was attached to the State Property Management Committee.

Let us remind that the settlement agreement was approved by the decision of the Anti-corruption court dated February 27, 2024.

The ownership right of the Republic of Armenia over the property has already been recorded.

We would like to add also that during the last six months —4^th quarter of 2023 and 1^st quarter of 2024 in the scope of two exceptional powers of the Prosecutor’s Office (confiscation of illicit property and state interests protection) property in the amount of AMD 10 billion was returned to the state.

During the mentioned period, by the decision, that has entered into force and afterwards by the decision of the Government 7 immovable properties, 1 movable property with the total value of AMD 4 billion 118 million and AMD 609 million was returned to the Republic of Armenia only in the scope of the function of confiscation of property of illicit origin.
