Today Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia met with the delegation led by Fan Yong, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Armenia.

Anna Vardapetyan greeted the ambassador and attached importance to the organization of meetings in this format, which shall promote the efficient cooperation between the law enforcement authorities of two countries. 

Ambassador Fan Yong thanked Anna Vardapetyan for the meeting and highlighted, that China is interested in the direct cooperation with the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Armenia, and it also implies the implementation of experience exchange programs between the two Prosecutor’s Offices.

During the conversation the Prosecutor General of the Republic presented the priorities of the Prosecutor's Office—fight against corruption, confiscation of property of illicit origin and protection of state interests.

The parties also discussed the prospects of developing cooperation between the Prosecutor's Offices of two countries within the framework of mutual legal assistance.
