Based on the decision of Anna Vardapetyan, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia dated October 17, 2023 a disciplinary penalty was initiated against the person holding an autonomous position in the Prosecutor’s Office of Kotayk region.  

In the scope of the proceedings it was confirmed that the prosecutor being properly notified on the date and hour of court hearings, failed to participate in two of them without a valid reason.

On November 8, 2023, the results of the disciplinary proceedings were submitted to the Ethics Commission under the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia.

By the decision of the Ethics commission dated November 14, 2023, both the existence of disciplinary violation and the guilt of the prosecutor were confirmed.

By the order of the Prosecutor General of November 15, 2023, a disciplinary penalty in the form of “reprimand” was applied against the person holding an autonomous position in the Prosecutor’s Office of Kotayk region.
