New Member of the Ethics Commission under the Prosecutor General was elected

Today an election of member of the Ethics Commission under the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia took place, which was chaired by Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General.

 

Vardapetyan, the Chairman, proposed the candidacy of Armen Grigoryan, Head of the Department for Crimes against Property of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Armenia.

 

For the purpose of organizing a closed secret ballot, the participants of the sitting elected 3 members of the Counting Commission through an open ballot by simple majority of votes.

 

After the vote the members of the Counting Commission published the results of the election: Armen Grigoryan was elected as a member of the Ethics Commission under the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia (39 voted for and 1 against his candidacy).

 

The Prosecutor General of the Republic congratulated Grigoryan, Head of the Department for Crimes against Property of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Armenia and emphasized that a member of the Ethics Commission must have exemplary behavior and an objective and balanced approach.
