On October 6, 2023, the Anti-Corruption Court accepted another lawsuit regarding confiscation of property of illegal origin.

The Department for Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the Prosecutor General's Office submitted a claim with the court to confiscate from Gevorg Hakobyan, the former Director of Yerevan Municipality's “Land and Property Operations” CJSC, the former Head of the “Zvartnots” Division of the State Anti-Smuggling Department of the State Revenue Committee, and his affiliates in favor of the Republic of Armenia the following:

• 2 immovable properties located on Amiryan street, Yerevan and one vehicle, and in case of impossibility, their average market value, which is AMD 200 million 950 thousand in total.

• 50 percent participation of “G and S Residence” LLC.

• AMD 13 million 549 thousand 105 as the balance of illegal funds.

• AMD 662 million 223 thousand 797, which is not substantiated by the legal income of the person, has an illegal origin, was transferred to a bona fide acquirer or cannot be identified and confiscated.
