On July 4, the Prosecutor General of the RA Anna Vardapetyan met with Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov in the framework of the 8^th meeting of International Council on Combating Corruption held in Ekaterinburg. Issues of mutual interest were discussed.

The Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov congratulated Anna Vardapetyan and all the employees of the prosecutorial system of the RA on the 105^th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Prosecutor’s Office. The Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation expressed gratitude to the Prosecutor General of Armenia for participating in the International Council and sharing the Armenian experience of combating corruption with partner countries. 

The Prosecutor General of the RA Anna Vardapetyan expressed gratitude to her Russian colleague for the meeting and referred to a number of issues of mutual interests in the field of legal aid, as well as other topics related to the measures to be implemented within the framework of the 2023-2024 cooperation program signed between the Prosecutor's Offices of Armenia and Russia, cooperation in educational programs and common challenges aimed at combating corruption and crime.
