Тoday the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan received IAP Vice President Giorgi Gogadze, who had arrived in Armenia to participate in the event on the 105^th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia and the conference organized jointly with the Office of the Council of Europe.

The Prosecutor General’s Office of the RA has been a member of the IAP since May 17, 1999.

Anna Vardapetyan expressed gratitude to the Vice-President of the Association for accepting the invitation and emphasized the role and mission of the Association in frames of joint efforts to solve existing problems in combating crime.

“We attach particular importance to the annual conferences held by the Association, therein the RA Prosecutor's Office ensures the active participation of its representatives," said the RA Prosecutor General and considered the annual magazine published by the Association to be significant, which includes information on the experience of the Prosecutor's Offices of different countries in combating crime.

Anna Vardapetyan also emphasized the presence of the Vice-President of the Association at the upcoming conference and stressed out the necessity to join efforts towards the realization of the general goal of combating crime.
