Within the scope of its authority of state (community) interests protection, the Prosecutor’s Office of Syunik region examined the documents concerning the allocation of land plots located in the “May 28” park area in the city of Sisian, Sisian community, Syunik region, to various individuals.

The examination revealed that a 0.08-hectare land plot located within the “May 28” park area of Sisian had been granted to a private individual under a development right in violation of legal requirements.

The prosecutor submitted a motion to the Head of Sisian community, requesting to take measures to terminate the development right agreement concluded between Sisian community and the developer on April 30, 2011.

As a result of the measures undertaken by the competent authorities of the Sisian Municipality based on the prosecutor’s motion, on June 19, 2026, the registered development right over the 0.08-hectare land plot located in the “May 28” Park of Sisian community, with a market-approximated cadastral value of AMD 1,502,000, was terminated by the Cadastre Committee.

The land plot has been returned to the possession of Sisian community.
