On May 26, 2026, the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, Edgar Arsenyan, received the delegation of the Chief Justice of New Brunswick, Canada, Mark Richard, who is on a working visit to Armenia.

The delegation has arrived in Armenia within the framework of the 2025-2026 technical assistance program implemented jointly with the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Armenia and the Office of the Federal Judicial Commissioner of Canada.

Edgar Arsenyan welcomed the Canadian colleagues at the Prosecutor General's Office and highlighted the importance of the program implemented with the Supreme Judicial Council.

Chief Justice of New Brunswick of Canada, Mark Richard presented the results of the work carried out within the framework of the Program, the Canadian experience and its possible applicability in the justice system of Armenia.

The Deputy Prosecutor General and the Chief Justice of New Brunswick of Canada, discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.
