Workshop with Armenian and German Prosecutors on Crimes Against Property in the Virtual Environment

On May 19, 2026, the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Armenia, with the support of the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ), launched a two-day workshop on the topic “Crimes Against Property.”

 

During the workshop, prosecutors from the Republic of Armenia and the Federal Republic of Germany will exchange information and experience regarding Armenian and German legal regulations. Discussions will also cover issues related to crimes against property in the virtual environment and measures aimed at reducing the impact of victimization of persons affected by such crimes in cyberspace.

 

Opening remarks at the event were delivered by Narine Gasparyan, Adviser to the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia and Nelli Tumasyan, Program Coordinator of the Yerevan Office of IRZ.

 

To deliver presentations at the workshop, Carlo Schmid, prosecutor at the Düsseldorf Prosecutor General’s Office, and Nino Goldbeck, senior prosecutor at the Bamberg Prosecutor General’s Office, arrived in Armenia.
