On May 8, 2026, the Court of First Instance of Shirak region rendered a guilty verdict against N.Gh., A.A., A.B. and S.S. under point 3 of part 2 of Article 191 and point 2 of part 2 of Article 198 of the Criminal Code for kidnapping a minor girl and committing violent sexual actions against her.

It should be recalled that on June 15, 2024, the prosecutor initiated public criminal prosecution against N.Gh., A.A., A.B., and S.S. under point 3 of part 2 of Article 191 (kidnapping a minor) and point 2 of part 2 of Article 198 (commission of violent sexual actions against a minor) of the Criminal Code.

The criminal proceedings examined by the Investigative Committee revealed that in 2023, minors N.Gh., A.A., A.B. and S.S., as part of a group, with prior consent, fraudulently kidnapped a minor girl, moved her to a half-built building in Gyumri and complementing each other's actions, committed violent actions of sexual nature, recorded a video and under circumstances not clarified by the investigation, published the video on a social network account.

On January 25, 2025, the prosecutor along with the approved indictment submitted the files of the criminal proceedings against the above-mentioned persons to the competent court.
