The Prosecutor’s Office demands confiscation of 3 real estate properties and approximately AMD 237 million from former National Assembly deputy Ruben Hovsepyan in favor of the state

Another claim filed by the Prosecutor General’s Office concerning the confiscation of property of illicit origin has been accepted for proceedings by the Anti-Corruption Court.

 

The Department for Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the Prosecutor General’s Office has submitted a motion to the court demanding the confiscation of the following property from the former Head of the Ajapnyak Administrative District of Yerevan and former National Assembly deputy Ruben Hovsepyan and persons affiliated with him in favor of the Republic of Armenia:

 

  • 3 real estate properties, 2 whereof are located in Yerevan and 1 in the Artashavan settlement of the Ashtarak community;
    • 1 vehicle;
    • participation in 1 legal entity;
    • AMD 236 million 827 thousand as the remainder of allegedly illegal monetary assets.
