The Prosecutor General's Office had informed that the Anti-Corruption Court has granted the claim of the Department of State Interests Protection of the Prosecutor General's Office dated January 23, 2026. AMD 297 million 980 thousand will be confiscated in favor of the Republic of Armenia.

The Department for Protection of State Interests of the Prosecutor General's Office had filed a claim with the Anti-Corruption Court demanding to recognize invalid the contract for the sale of a land plot with an area of ​​1.4514 hectares, located on Tsovakal Isakov Avenue, Malatia-Sebastia Administrative District of Yerevan city, signed on December 17, 2005.

The court, granted the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office, declared the sale and purchase agreement invalid and, as a consequence of the invalidity of the agreement, ruled to recover the value of the land plot from the individual in favor of the Republic of Armenia, in the amount of AMD 297 million 980 thousand.

The decision has entered into legal force, and a writ of execution has been issued.
