Between 2023 and 2025, the Department of State Interests Protection of the Prosecutor General’s Office filed 17 claims with the Anti-Corruption Court regarding land plots in the Ijevan city park, demanding to terminate development rights over those plots and return them to the Ijevan community in Tavush region.
By its verdict of March 16, 2026, the Anti-Corruption Court granted the claim of the Prosecutor General’s Office. The verdict terminated the development right of a private individual over a 0.04 ha land plot located at 1/30 Valans street in the Ijevan community of Tavush region.
After the verdict enters into legal force, another land plot located in the Ijevan city park area will be returned to the community. The cadastral value of the land plot, approximated to market value, amounts to AMD 2,733,000.
It is worth recalling that, to date, the following properties located in the Ijevan city park have already been returned to the Ijevan community:
In addition, as a result of prosecutorial measures, a 0.03 ha land plot adjacent to the fountains of the city park has been returned to the possession and use of the Ijevan community.
It should also be noted that out of the aforementioned 17 claims, 3 more have also been granted by the court. Once those decisions enter into legal force, the following land plots will be returned to the Ijevan community:
