Under the leadership of Lilit Grigoryan, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, the activity of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Yerevan City for 2025 was summarized on February 24, 2026.

 

The summary was attended by the Prosecutor of the Yerevan City Rafayel Manukyan, prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Yerevan City, prosecutors of the administrative districts and others.

 

Rafayel Manukyan presented a report on the work of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Yerevan City in 2025, including statistics on initiated criminal proceedings, criminal cases submitted to the courts, criminal cases completed in the courts, recovery of damages caused to the state and work carried out in the field of state (community) interests protection.

 

According to Rafayel Manukyan, in 2025, under the direct supervision of prosecutors of the Yerevan City, 3,790 criminal proceedings were examined, whereof 2,238 were initiated in the reporting year (in 2024 – 3,546 criminal proceedings, whereof 2,113 were initiated in 2024).

 

In 2025, 154 criminal proceedings concerning 198 individuals were submitted to the court with an indictment approved by prosecutors (in 2024 – 124 criminal proceedings concerning 128 individuals).

 

97 criminal cases concerning 101 individuals were completed in the courts (in 2024 – 79 criminal cases concerning 79 individuals).

 

According to the Prosecutor of the Yerevan City, AMD 225,416,000 of damage caused to the state was recovered under criminal proceedings in 2025.

 

Deputy Prosecutor General Lilit Grigoryan instructed the Prosecutor of the Yerevan City to intensify work in the field of state (municipal) interests protection.
