Two land plots with a total area of about 13.6 ha have been returned to the Shamiram community of the Aragatsotn region. The verdict issued by the Anti-Corruption Court on the basis of the claim of the Prosecutor General’s Office for the state (community) interests protection has entered into legal force.
The Prosecutor General’s Office had previously reported that, within the scope of its authority to file a claim for the state interests protection, a claim was submitted to the Anti-Corruption Court on August 2, 2025, demanding to declate invalid the auction of 2022 and to apply the consequences of invalidity.
On December 15, 2025, the Anti-Corruption Court granted the claim of the Prosecutor General’s Office. The verdict declared invalid the auction held on June 27, 2022, concerning land plots of about 5.3 ha and 8.6 ha. As a consequence of the invalidity, the real estate sale contracts concluded on July 14, 2022, between the Shamiram community of Aragatsotn region and a private individual, as well as the state registrations of ownership rights, were also declared invalid.
The decision of the Anti-Corruption Court has entered into legal force.
