The Department for Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the Prosecutor General’s Office has submitted a claim to the court demanding the confiscation of the following properties from the former member of the “Republican” (RPA) faction of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Karen Avagyan in favor of the Republic of Armenia:

• 10 immovable properties, 3 whereof are located at the Kentron administrative district;
• AMD 12,718,000 as the balance of illicit monetary funds;
• and other assets.
