On February 17, 2026, the work of the Prosecutor's Office of Malatia-Sebastia Administrative District of Yerevan City was summarized under the leadership of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, Anna Vardapetyan.

The Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Yeghiazar Avagyan, the Prosecutor of Yerevan City, Rafael Manukyan, the Prosecutor of Malatia-Sebastia Administrative District Armen Oseyan, the Secretary General of the Prosecutor's Office Mher Aprikyan, heads of territorial divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, National Security Service, Investigative Committee, prosecutors of the prosecutor's office of the administrative district and others were attending the summary meeting.

Armen Oseyan, presenting the report on the work of the Prosecutor's Office of Malatia-Sebastia Administrative District of Yerevan City and the territory of the "Zvartnots" International Airport in 2025, noted that in 2025, 2396 criminal proceedings were initiated (in 2024 - 2410 criminal proceedings).

During the reporting period, 535 criminal proceedings were submitted to the court with indictments approved by prosecutors, involving 554 persons (in 2024: 524 criminal proceedings, involving 550 persons).

In 2025, 479 criminal cases were completed in the courts, involving 515 persons (in 2024: 496 criminal cases, involving 529 persons).

In 2025, about AMD 56 million was recovered from the damage caused to the state and community through criminal proceedings.

Referring to the 27 studies conducted and summarized by the Prosecutor's Office of Malatia-Sebastia Administrative District in the field of protection of state (community) interests, Armen Oseyan informed that as a result of them, 19 lawsuits were filed.

Within the framework of the function of filing a lawsuit to protect state interests, the circumstance of alienation of a 9,000-square-meter land plot in Yerevan, which is state property, by direct sale to a CJSC in violation of the requirements of the legislation was also studied. Based on the results of the study, a report on the crime was filed, criminal proceedings were initiated, as well as a claim to declare the state registration of the right of ownership invalid was submitted to the competent court.

According to the Prosecutor of the Malatia-Sebastia Administrative District, in the field of protection of state (community) interests, as a result of prosecutorial interaction, an unauthorized building with a metal structure located in the territory of the “Mayrutyun” park was dismantled.

During the reporting period, prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office Malatia-Sebastia Administrative District sent 24 petitions to the competent bodies aimed at eliminating the causes and conditions of the crimes. One of the petitions concerned the “Republican Special Educational Complex No. 2”.

Anna Vardapetyan gave a number of instructions to the Prosecutor of the Malatia-Sebastia Administrative District and the prosecutors of the prosecutor's office aimed at enhancing work in the field of protecting state and community interests, as well as and preventing and detecting crimes.
