Under the leadership of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan, on February 16, 2026, the work of the Prosecutor’s Offices of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan for 2025 was summarized.
The summary was attended by Deputy Prosecutor General Yeghiazary Avagyan, Prosecutor of the Yerevan City Rafael Manukyan, Prosecutor of the Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts Gurgen Madoyan, Secretary General of the Prosecutor’s Office Mher Aprikyan, heads of territorial units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Investigative Committee, prosecutors of the prosecutor’s offices of administrative district, etc.
Gurgen Madoyan, while presenting the report on the work of the Prosecutor’s Offices of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts for 2025, noted that 1,903 criminal proceedings were initiated (in 2024 — 2,017 criminal proceedings).
During the reporting period, 475 criminal proceedings involving 480 individuals were submitted to the court with indictments approved by prosecutors (in 2024 — 237 criminal proceedings involving 258 individuals).
In 2025, 217 criminal cases involving 225 individuals were concluded in courts (in 2024 — 166 criminal cases involving 171 individuals).
From the damage caused to the state in criminal proceedings, AMD 1,460,000 were recovered.
Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan gave a series of instructions to the Prosecutor of the Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts and to the prosecutors of the prosecutor’s offices, aimed at intensifying studies and protecting state (municipal) interests, as well as preventing and uncovering crimes in the following areas: alienation and lease of park territories, alienation of kindergarten buildings, operation of gas stations and fuel stations in violation of the law.
