On February 11, 2026, under the leadership of Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, Lilit Grigoryan, the outcomes of the activities of the Prosecutor's Office of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts for 2025 were summarized.
Rafael Manukyan, the Prosecutor of Yerevan City, Armen Muradyan, the Prosecutor of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts, heads of the Investigative Committee, territorial divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, prosecutors of the prosecutor's office of the administrative district and others attended the summarizing meeting.
Presenting the report on the activities of the Prosecutor's Office of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts for 2025, Armen Muradyan noted that 5,228 criminal proceedings were initiated in 2025 (in 2024 -6,673 criminal proceedings).
During the reporting period, the indictment approved by the prosecutor's office referred 1,182 criminal proceedings against 1,203 persons to the court (in 2024, 672 criminal proceedings against 731 persons).
758 criminal cases against 785 persons have been completed in the courts (in 2024 - 585 criminal cases against 617 persons).
According to the Prosecutor of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts, the damage caused to the state as a result of criminal proceedings amounted to AMD 268 million 341 thousand.
Touching upon the work carried out in the field of protecting state (community) interests, Armen Muradyan said that in 2025, the Prosecutor's Office of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts conducted 7 studies that related to the regulatory requirements for fire and technical safety of gas stations, leased land and the right to build on Freedom Square, land plots, alienated in Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Region in accordance with the auction procedure, the legality of the auction process, etc. As a result of the investigations, prosecutors submitted reports of the crime, lawsuits to the administrative court, and petitions to the competent authorities.
In 2025, 10 claims were considered and are under the considered in the proceedings of the competent court on claims filed by the Prosecutor's Office of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts.
