On February 11, 2026, the outcomes of the work of the Prosecutor’s Office of Arabkir and Kanker-Zeytun Administrative Districts of Yerevan City for 2025 were summarized under the leadership of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan.

Yeghiazar Avagyan, the Deputy Prosecutor General of the RA, Rafayel Manukyan, the Prosecutor of Yerevan City, Hayk Manandyan, the Prosecutor of Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun Administrative Districts of Yerevan City, Mher Aprikyan, the Secretary General of the RA Prosecutor’s Office, were present at the summary meeting, as well as Heads of the territorial units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Security Service, the Investigation Committee, prosecutors of the prosecutor’s office of the administrative district and others. Hayk Manandyan, presenting the report on the work of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Administrative districts of Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun for 2025, noted that in 2025, 3 534 criminal proceedings were initiated in the Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun Administrative Districts of Yerevan City, out of which 2447 cases in the Investigation Department of Arabkir Administrative District  (in 2024 - 2490 criminal proceedings), and – 1087 cases in the Investigation Department of the Kanaker-Zeytun Administrative Districts of (in 2024 - 1275 criminal proceedings).

During the reporting period, 581 criminal cases involving 609 persons were referred to the court by indictment approved by the prosecutor’s office (in 2024, 582 criminal cases involving 627 persons).

In the courts, 556 criminal cases involving 560 persons have been completed (in 2024 - 590 criminal cases involving 599 persons).

According to Hayk Manandyan, the damage caused to the state as a result of criminal proceedings amounted to AMD 17 million 697 thousand, which was fully recovered during the same period.

According to the Prosecutor of Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun Administrative Districts, in 2025 prosecutors sent 16 petitions to the state authorities aimed at taking measures to eliminate the causes and conditions of crime. During the reporting period, the Prosecutor’s Office of Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun Administrative Districts brought two cases for protection of public (communal) interests before the competent court. The cases were accepted.

The Prosecutor General gave the Prosecutor of Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun of the Administrative Districts and the prosecutors of the public prosecutor’s office a number of assignments aimed at conducting research in the field of protection of state (public) interests with regard to alienation and lease of parks, alienation of the buildings of kindergartens, petrol stations and gas stations operating in violation of the law, and submission of claims to the court.
