On April 23, 2025, the Prosecutor’s Office of the Syunik Region filed a claim with the Anti-Corruption Court demanding to declare invalid the 2016 auctions concerning four land plots with a total area of 2.1 hectares and to apply the consequences of invalidity.

On December 23, 2025, the Anti-Corruption Court granted the claim of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Syunik Region for the protection of state (community) interests. Pursuant to the decisions, the auctions held on May 16, 2016 and June 20, 2016, concerning land plots with areas of 0.9 ha, 0.2 ha, 0.4 ha and 0.6 ha located in the Alvank settlement of the Meghri community were declared invalid.

After the decision enters into legal force, a land plot with a total area of 2.1 hectares will be returned to the Meghri community.
