On December 23, 2025, ownership rights of the Vayk community of Vayots Dzor region were restored over a land plot with an area exceeding 1 hectare, located in the settlement of Saravan.

It should be recalled that on May 8, 2025, the Anti-Corruption Court granted the claim filed by the Prosecutor’s Office of Vayots Dzor region for the protection of state (community) interests. By a decision, the auction of a 1-hectare land plot organized on February 8, 2008, by the former head of the Saravan community of the Vayk municipality in Vayots Dzor region was declared invalid.

As a consequence of declaring the land auction invalid, the land sale agreement concluded on June 26, 2008, between the Saravan community and a private individual was also declared invalid, along with the state registration of the immovable property, as well as the deed of gift concluded in 2019 between private individuals concerning the same land plot.

The court decision entered into legal force on May 8, 2025.

On December 23, 2025, the state registration of ownership rights of the Vayk community of Vayots Dzor region over the land plot located in the Saravan settlement was carried out.
