Pursuant to its authority to file claims for the state interests protection, on March 5, 2025, the Prosecutor General’s Office filed a claim with the Anti-Corruption Court against the Vayk Community, demanding the annulment of the auction conducted on May 6, 2006 and the application of the legal consequences thereof.

By its verdict of October 23, 2025, the Anti-Corruption Court granted the claim Prosecutor General’s Office. The verdict declared null and void the auction of the 1,000 sq.m. plot of land in Zaritap settlement conducted by the Zaritap Community and, as a consequence, annulled the 2006 sale and purchase agreement between the Zaritap Community and an individual, as well as the state registration of ownership based thereon.

Upon the entry of the verdict into force, the 1,000 sq.m. plot of land in Zaritap settlement shall be returned to the Vayk Community, Vayots Dzor Region.
