On November 7, 2025, within the framework of her working visit to the Italian Republic, Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia met with Pietro Lafranco, Vice President of the Italian Military Judicial Council, as well as members of the Council.

The meeting was also attended by Vladimir Karapetyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Italian Republic; Grigor Elizbaryan, Military Prosecutor of the Republic of Armenia, Deputy Prosecutor General and Yeghiazar Avagyan, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia.

Anna Vardapetyan expressed her gratitude to the Vice President of the Military Judicial Council of Italy for the warm reception and emphasized that the upcoming signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on Enhancing Cooperation between the Military Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Armenia and the Office of the Military Prosecutor General at the Supreme Court of Cassation of the Italian Republic would expand the scope of professional collaboration between the military prosecutors of the two countries.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a range of issues of mutual interest.
