Under the Chair of the Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan, today a session was held to elect a prosecutor member of the Ethics Commission under the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia.
The candidacy of Koryun Serobyan, Head of the Department for Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the Prosecutor General’s Office, was once again nominated. His term as a prosecutor member of the Ethics Commission had expired on October 4, 2025.
It should be noted that a candidate must be a prosecutor with at least three years of prosecutorial experience.
To organize and conduct the closed secret ballot, the 39 participants of the session elected three members of the Counting Commission by a simple majority vote.
Following the vote, the results were announced: Koryun Serobyan was re-elected as a member of the Ethics Commission under the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia with 39 votes “in favor”.
