In the scope of the working visit paid to the Republic of Singapore, on September 8, 2025, Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia met with Katarina Johansson Welin, Prosecutor General of the Kingdom of Sweden.

Let us remind that Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia paid a working visit to the Republic of Singapore to participate in the 30^th Annual Conference and General Meeting of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP). Anna Vardapetyan was elected as a candidate for a member of Executive Committee of the International Association of Prosecutors during the 59^th meeting of the Executive Committee, held in Buenos Aires on April 08, 2025. The member of the Executive Committee shall be elected during the meeting.

Anna Vardapetyan thanked Katarina Welin for accepting the invitation of bilateral meeting in the scope of IAP Conference as well as for defining priorities of cooperation and the commitment to collaboratively confront the challenges of criminal justice.

During the meeting, the participants also referred to the opportunities of development of international-legal cooperation between Armenia and Sweden in the scope of criminal cases as well as prospects for deepening cooperation within the framework of Eurojust.
