The Prosecutor General's Office demands to confiscate immovable and movable properties, and over AMD 200 million from the former Adviser to the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia, Asot Hakobyan

The Anti-corruption court has seised another appeal filed by the Prosecutor General's Office referring to the confiscation of property of illicit origin.

 

The Department for Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the Prosecutor General's Office has filed a claim to the court to confiscate from the former Adviser to the Minister of Emergency Situautions of the Republic of Armenia, Ashot Hakobyan and his affiliates in favor of the Republic of Armenia:

 

  • 2 immօvable properties in Yerevan City;
  • 2 vehicles;
  • AMD 124 million 570 thousand as a remnant of illegal monetary means;
  • AMD 79 million 540 thousasnd, not substantiated by the lawful income, but has illegal origin which was transferred to bona fide party or was not possible to identify and confiscate.
