The Prosecutor’s Office of Ararat region, in the scope of the power of protection of the state (community) interests, examined the documents of the park allocated to the Cultural Center under the ownership right located at 2/1 Shahumyan Str.,  by the decision of the Government dated November 6, 2003.

As a result of examination it was found out that V.G., former Head of Kaghtsrashen settlement, rendered non-legitimate acts by misleading the authorized persons of the Cadastre Committee as a result of which community-owned land plot with the surface of 150 m²  was alienated through a formal auction to V.G.’s son on March 5, 2012.

The Prosecutor addressed a written motion to the Head of Artashat community on undertaking measures to revoke the decision on alienation of the immovable property and to return the property to the community.

Based on the written motion and as a result of measures undertaken by the competent authorities of Artashat community, the ownership right of Artashat community was registered over the immovable property located at 2/1 Shahumyan Str., Kaghtsrashen settlement on July 24, 2025.
