A ceremonial session of the Collegium of the Prosecutor’s Office took place on 5 July, 2025 under the leadership of Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia.

In her speech the Prosecutor General of the Republic mentioned.

 “Dear prosecutors and employees of the Prosecutor’s Office”,

This is the second time that we are turning the day of employee of the Prosecutor's Office into a series of events dedicated to the Prosecutor's Office. We shall continue and enrich this tradition together.  This year is not an exception as well: today is a symbolic day as we complete the events dedicated to the employee of the Prosecutor’s Office, which started on June 30, 2025 in Dilijan, in the scope of the events dedicated to the 30^th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia.

I would like to highlight with a satisfaction and gratitude that 2024 exceeded my expectations. It exceeded both in standards and indicators—evidence-based indicators. Those indicators include properties returned to the state and communities and judicial acts rendered based on charges. 

The Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Armenia shall continue to stand on the edge of legal system and legality. Why am I saying on the edge and not on the border? Because the ones approaching the edge are the bravest ones.   I want the Prosecutor’s Office continue being the bravest one standing on the edge, the one, who does not avoid responsibility under any circumstances, the professional, who can say well-grounded “No”, the official, who can’t be bribed.

I am hopeful, that together we will raise the bar we have set, we will continue to follow this path and we will become a bulwark, we will protect those, who need our protection.

I would like to congratulate all of you and thank for your work”.

At the end of the ceremonial session, on the occasion of the 107^th anniversary of the establishment of the Prosecutor’s Office and day of employee of the Prosecutor’s Office,  by the orders of Anna Vardapetyan, RA Prosecutor General, a number of prosecutors and employees of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia were awarded certificates of gratitude, souvenir watches, jubilee medals “The 105^th Anniversary of the RA Prosecutor's Office”, badges “RA Prosecutor’s Office”, souvenirs and three prosecutors were awarded the rank of First Class Counselor of Justice for the excellent and conscientious performance of their official duties.

By the order of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Yeghiazar Avagyan, Deputy Prosecutor General, Third Class State Councilor of Justice was awarded with a medal “Bulwark of law” for huge personal contribution to strengthening legal system and on the occasion of the day of employee of the Prosecutor’s Office.

By the order of the Director of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia Lilit Grigoryan, Deputy Prosecutor General, Third Class State Councilor of Justice and Varuzhan Ghahramanyan, Head of the Department for Special Assignments, Adjacent to the RA Prosecutor General, First Class Counselor of Justice, were awarded with souvenir watches on the occasion of the day of employee of the Prosecutor’s Office.

Several employees of the Prosecutor’s Office were awarded certificates of gratitude and souvenir watches by the order of the Secretary General of the Prosecutor’s Office for the consciences implementation of their official duties. 

Let us remind that the day of the employee of the RA Prosecutor’s Office is celebrated on the 1^st of July. This year the Prosecutor’s Office symbolized its professional day with the organization of high-level international conference. The leaders of the executive and judicial authorities of the Republic of Armenia as well as representatives of the Prosecutor’s Offices of 7 European countries and two international prosecutorial organizations also participated in the conference.
