Today, Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia met Mehdi Sobhani, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia.

Anna Vardapetyan welcomed the Ambassador on behalf of the Prosecutor’s Office and despite the existing difficult situation, which is a challenge for overall regional stability and peace, emphasized the importance of organization of arranged meeting, expressing hope that efforts aimed at establishing peace will be successful.

During the meeting the parties discussed issues of mutual interest, which mainly referred to the extradition of wanted persons, provision of legal assistance, etc..
