On May 15, 2025 the prosecutor submitted to the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan city the criminal proceedings and the signed indictment regarding the person charged with attempted kidnapping of two minors. 

Let us remind that on September 26, 2024, operational data were received at the Criminal Investigation Division of Malatia Division of the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that on September 25, 2024 at about 16:00-17:00, in the Yerevan city, A.K. tried to kidnap two minors with a car.

On the same day A.K. was arrested and taken to Malatia division of the Police, a criminal proceeding was initiated.  

On September 28, 2024 the prosecutor initiated a public criminal prosecution against A.K. under point 3 of part 2 of article 44-191 of the Criminal Code (kidnapping a minor) (two counts). 

 On May 15, 2025 the criminal proceeding and signed indictment were submitted to the competent court.

Notice:  A person charged with any crime shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty in the manner prescribed by the RA Criminal Procedure Code—by the judgment came into legal force.
