The Prosecutor General’s Office required to confiscate 28 immovable properties and about AMD 2 billion from Armen Stepanyan, former Head of “Zvartnots” Customs House

The Anti-corruption court accepted into proceedings another statement of claim of the Prosecutor General’s Office regarding the confiscation of illicit property.

 

The Department of Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the Prosecutor General’s Office submitted a claim to the court with the requirement to confiscate from Armen Stepanyan (father’s name: Albert), former Head of “Zvartnots” Customs House and related persons in favor of the Republic of Armenia:

 

  • 28 immovable properties;
  • 3 movable properties;
  • Market value of 1 transportation means;
  • Share in 1 legal person;
  • AMD 234 million 156 thousand as an unpaid part of acquired bonds;
  • AMD 1 billion 265 million as a remainder of illicit income;
  • AMD 709 million 616 thousand as the sum of funds, not justified by legal income, having an illicit origin and transferred to bona fide third parties or not identified.
  • The right to claim a loan in the amount of AMD 4 million;
  • Deposit in the amount of about AMD 3 million.
