The Prosecutor General’s Office required to confiscate 10 immovable properties, shares in 3 legal persons and monetary means from the former head of Vedi community

The Anti-corruption court accepted into proceedings another statement of claim of the Prosecutor General’s Office regarding the confiscation of illicit property.

 

The Department of Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the Prosecutor General’s Office submitted a claim to the court with the requirement to confiscate from Varuzhan Barseghyan (father’s name: Hakob), former Head of Vedi community of Ararat region and related persons in favor of the Republic of Armenia:

 

  • 10 immovable properties located at Vedi city, Ararat region;
  • Shares in 3 legal persons;
  • AMD 40 million 836 thousand as a remainder of illicit income.
