On February 20, 2025 the Anti-Corruption Court awarded another statement of claim of the Department of the State Interests Protection of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
With the abovementioned statement of claim, the Prosecutor General’s Office required to recognize the lease agreement concluded on April 17, 2015, between Jermuk community of Vayots Dzor region and “Jermuk Drinking Gallery” LLC regarding two land plots invalid and to apply result of invalidity.
Based on the decision of the court, as a result of declaring the rental tender invalid, the state registration of the right of the Company to lease 2 land plots located at Jermuk community, Vayots Dzor region (land plot with the surface of 1.3930 ha with the cadastral value approximated to the market value of AMD 226 million 37 thousand and land plot with the surface of 0, 2661 ha with the cadastral value approximated to the market value of AMD 45 million 207 thousand) was recognized invalid.
It should be mentioned that lease agreements were concluded between V.H., former Mayor of Jermuk city and the companies belonging to him. The annual lease payment for the first land plot amounted to only AMD 53 thousand 700 (for the term of 50 years), for the second land plot —AMD 13 thousand 500 (for the term of 50 years).
