On February 22, 2025, the work of the Prosecutor’s Office of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of the city of Yerevan during 2024 was summarized under the leadership of Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia.
Yeghiazar Avagyan, Deputy Prosecutor General of the RA, Rafayel Manukyan, Prosecutor of Yerevan city, Gevorg Gevorgyan, Prosecutor of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts, Mher Aprikyan, Secretary General of the Prosecutor’s Office, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Investigation Committee, prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office of the administrative districts also participated in the meeting.
Gevorg Gevorgyan presented the report on the work of the Prosecutor’s Office of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative district’s during 2024. The Prosecutor of the administrative districts informed that 2017 criminal proceedings were initiated during 2024 (1567 criminal proceedings during 2023), 237 criminal proceedings regarding 258 individuals were submitted to the court with the indictment signed by the prosecutors (249 criminal proceedings regarding 275 individuals during 2023). During the same period 166 criminal cases regarding 171 individuals were completed in the courts (171 criminal cases regarding 173 individuals during 2023).
5 examinations regarding protection of state and community interests were conducted in the Prosecutor’s Office of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts during 2024 against 7 examinations conducted during 2023. 6 statements of claims were submitted to the court.
During 2024, the damage caused to Yerevan city under 3 criminal proceedings amounted to AMD 4 million, which was completely recovered.
