On January 27, 2025 the Prosecutor General’s Office was informed that the decision of the Anti-corruption court on completely granting the statement of claim of the Prosecutor General’s Office on confiscation of illicit property entered into legal force. This is the first decision on the case of confiscation of property of illicit origin that entered into legal force.  

Based on the decision, on February 5, 2025, the ownership right of the Republic of Armenia was registered over 1 apartment located at Vardanants Str., city of Yerevan and 1 house, located at Arinj community, Kotayk region. About AMD 22 million equal to EUR 50 thousand 720 was confiscated in favor of the Republic of Armenia. 

For the enforcement of the rest of the decision the Prosecutor General’s Office applied to the Anti-corruption court with the request to issue a writ of execution.
