The land parcel alienated in violation of the law will be returned to the Jrashen community. The court has granted the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office

26/12/2024

On December 23, 2024, the Anti-Corruption Court granted the claim filed by the Prosecutor General's Office and declared the auction of a 0.07-hectare land parcel, located at 1/1, 2nd Street, Jrashen community in the Lori region, invalid.

As a result of the invalidity of the transaction, the Court declared the sale and purchase agreement signed between the Jrashen community and G.E. invalid, and ordered G.E. to return the aforementioned land parcel to the Jrashen community.

It should be reminded that the claim was filed with the court by the Department of State Interests Protection of the Prosecutor General's Office on August 26, 2024. The claim was based on the fact that the auction had been conducted in violation of the requirements of Part 2 of Article 3 of the Land Code, as a person who did not have the right to participate in the auction was recognized as the winner.
