Today Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia received the delegation led by Andrei Shved, Prosecutor General of Belarus.

The delegation arrived in Armenia to participate in the 34^th Session of the Coordinating Council of the Prosecutors General of the CIS Member States, which will be held in the city of Yerevan.

Anna Vardapetyan greeted the guests in the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Armenia and mentioned, that the session of the Coordinating Commission is an important platform for discussing legal issues in the format of bilateral meetings.

The Prosecutor General of Belarus thanked the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia for warm hospitality.

Anna Vardapetyan and Andrei Shved referred to several issues of mutual interest.

Let us remind that the last Session of the Coordinating Council of the Prosecutors General of the CIS Member States was organized in the Republic of Armenia in 2007.

The range of issues included in the 34^th Session of the Coordinating Council are as follows: crime situation in the CIS member states, legal cooperation in fight against crime, safeguarding the rule of law, etc.
