The Anti-corruption court accepted into proceedings another statement of claim of the Prosecutor General’s Office regarding the confiscation of illicit property.

The Department of Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the Prosecutor General’s Office submitted a claim to the court with the requirement to confiscate from Samvel Paramazyan, former Head of Kajaran community of Syunik region and related persons in favor of the Republic of Armenia:

• 6 immovable properties;
• 2 transportation means;
• 1 share in legal persons;
• AMD 491 million 878 thousand as a remainder of illicit income, constituting an amount received from the conversion or use of the property of illicit origin;
• AMD 521 million 142 thousand, which was not substantiated by the lawful income of the person,  had an illicit origin, was transferred to the bona fide purchaser or could not be identified and confiscated.
• Investment in the amount of AMD 5 million 244 thousand.
