Staff reforms took place in the Prosecutor’s Office based on the orders of Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, dated June-July, 2024.

In particular:

• Ashot Zhamkochyan, Senior Prosecutor of the Prosecutor General’s Office was transferred to the position of Deputy Head of the Department of Cases of Crimes against the Fundamentals of the Constitutional Order, the State and Public Security of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

• Gevorg Sargsyan, Deputy Head of the Department of Cases of Crimes against the Fundamentals of the Constitutional Order, the State and Public Security of the Prosecutor General’s Office was transferred to the position of the Prosecutor of Aragatsotn region.

• Hayk Manandyan was dismissed from the position of the Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts of Yerevan city and was appointed to the position of the Deputy Head of the Department for Special Assignments adjacent to the RA Prosecutor General.

• Nikolay Barseghyan was dismissed from the position of the Prosecutor of Lori Garrison Military Prosecutor’s Office and was appointed to the position of Senior Prosecutor of the Department for Special Assignments adjacent to the RA Prosecutor General.

• Gagik Margaryan, Prosecutor of Aragatsotn region was transferred to the position of Deputy Head of the Department of Crimes against Public Health of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

• Hovhannes Torosyan, was dismissed from the position of the Prosecutor of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes of the Prosecutor General’s Office and appointed to the position of Senior Prosecutor of the same department.

• Alisa Boyajyan was dismissed from the position of Department of Crimes against Public Health of the Prosecutor General’s Office and was appointed to the position of Senior Prosecutor of the same department.

• Igor Alaverdyan was dismissed from the position of the Prosecutor of the Department of State Interests Protection of the Prosecutor General’s Office and was appointed to the position of Senior Prosecutor of the same department.

• Andranik Shahbazyan was dismissed from the position of Senior Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts of Yerevan city and was appointed to the position of Prosecutor of the Department for Combating Crimes against Human of the RA Prosecutor General’s Office.

• Aram Nersisyan was dismissed from the position of Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Yerevan City and was appointed to the position of Prosecutor of the Department of International Legal Cooperation of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

• Seda Grigoryan was appointed to the position of Prosecutor of the Department for Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

• Manya Galustyan was transferred from the position of the Prosecutor of the Department of State Interests Protection of the Prosecutor General’s Office to the position of Prosecutor of the Department of Supervision over Legality of Penalties and Other Means of Compulsion of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

• Artur Sargsyan, Deputy Prosecutor of Avan and Nor Nork Administrative Districts was transferred to the position of Senior Prosecutor of the Department for Crimes against Property of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

• Karen Sukiasyan was dismissed from the position of Prosecutor of Yerevan City and transferred to the position of Senior Prosecutor of Yerevan City.

• Karen Israelyan was dismissed from the position of Prosecutor of Yerevan City and transferred to the position of Senior Prosecutor of Yerevan City.

• Evelina Sargsyan, Senior Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Ajapnyak and Davtashen Administrative Districts of Yerevan City was transferred to the position of Yerevan City.

• Alina Hambardzumyan was dismissed from the position of Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Ajapnyak and Davtashen Administrative Districts and was appointed to the position of Senior Prosecutor of the same office.

• Hranush Mikaelyan was dismissed from the position of Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Ajapnyak and Davtashen Administrative Districts of Yerevan City and was appointed to the position of Senior Prosecutor of the same office.

• Vehanush Margaryan, Prosecutor of Avan and Nor Nork Administrative Districts of Yerevan City was transferred to the position of Senior Prosecutor of the same office.

• Gurgen Gurgenyan was dismissed from the position of the Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts of Yerevan city and was appointed to the position of Senior Prosecutor of the same office.

• Hayk Zhamakochyan was appointed to the position of the Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Avan and Nor Nork Administrative Districts of Yerevan City.

• Armen Sukiasyan, Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Avan and Nor Nork Administrative Districts of Yerevan City was transferred to the position of Syunik Garrison Military Prosecutor’s Office.

• Karapet Hovsepyan, Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Avan and Nor Nork Administrative Districts of Yerevan City was transferred to the position of the Prosecutor of Ararat Garrison Military Prosecutor’s Office.

• Davit Hovhannisyan, Prosecutor of Lori Garrison Military Prosecutor’s Office was transferred to the position of Prosecutor of Yerevan Garrison Military Prosecutor’s Office.

• Karen Karapetyan was dismissed from the position of Prosecutor of Ararat Garrison Military Prosecutor’s Office and was appointed as a Senior Prosecutor of the same office.

• Artsrun Khachatryan was dismissed from the position of Prosecutor of Gegharkunik Garrison Military Prosecutor’s Office and was appointed to the position of Senior Prosecutor of Lori Garrison Military Prosecutor’s Office.

• Artak Khachatryan was dismissed from the position of Prosecutor of Yerevan Garrison Military Prosecutor’s Office and was appointed to the position of Senior Prosecutor of the same office.

• Norayr Hovsepyan, the Prosecutor of Garrison №1 Military Prosecutor’s Office was dismissed from the position.

• Gor Manaseryan was dismissed from the position of Senior Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s office of Ararat region and was appointed to the position of Senior Prosecutor of the same office.

• Arsen Kostandyan was dismissed from the position of Senior Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Armavir region.

• Sargis Petrosyan, Senior Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Shirak region was dismissed from the position.
