Today under one of the issues discussed during the meeting of the Government, the land plot with the surface of 20000 square meters located at Tsaghkadzor community was attached to the State Property Management Committee of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure.

Let us remind that on April 6, 2023, the Anti-corruption court awarded the claim of the Department of State Interests Protection of the Prosecutor General’s Office pursuant whereof the Department requested:

• To recognize the auction of May 26, 2007 invalid.

• As a consequence to recognize the land plot sale and purchase agreement concluded between Samvel Mayrapetyan and Kavalenko Shahgeldyan, the former Governor of Kotayk region on May 31, 2007 as well as the state registration of Samvel Mayrapetyan’s ownership right over the land plot with the surface of 20000 square meters located at Tsaghkadzor community invalid. 

The ownership right of the Republic of Armenia over the specially protected land plot with the surface of 20000 square meters with the market value of AMD 37 million 593 thousand was registered.
