Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia granted the motion of the competent authority of the People’s Republic of China, S.V. (the wanted person), charged with committing fraud in especially large amounts, was extradited to China.

This is the second motion on extradition granted on the basis of the Treaty between the Republic of Armenia and the People’s Republic of China on extradition, which entered into force on March 18, 2023.

The first motion granted by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia referred to Zh.L., charged with the organization of illegal migration, the latter was extradited to China in December 2023.
