On January 19, 2024 the Prosecutor initiated public criminal prosecution against 5 residents of one of the settlements of Gegharkunik region for committing hooliganism, robbery in especially large amount as well as for using violence against the employees of Sevan National Park SNCO and Water Patrol Service and interfering in their official activities (detention was chosen as a measure of restraint against 4 individuals and ban on absence against 1 individual).

On February 29, 2024, the Prosecutor signed the indictment regarding the abovementioned individuals and submitted to the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Gegharkunik region with the materials of the case.

Notice:  A person charged with any crime shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty in the manner prescribed by the RA Criminal Procedure Code—by the judgment came into legal force.
